I’m Sarah Segal, owner and caregiver for Beach Pets L.A.

I have a deep passion for all animals and enjoy being able to have a business that allows me to care for my client’s pets like they are my own.

In April of 2002, I adopted a beagle, Boomer. I was taking him to 2 other dog daycares in Buckhead (Atlanta). Neither facility was up to my expectations as a pet parent. I decided to open up my own dog daycare, cage-free boarding, bathing & grooming business.

That was the beginning of my story and when I moved to Los Angeles in 2016 I knew I wanted to continue that journey. I sold my prior business in Atlanta, the Atlanta Dog Spa in 2018 and decided that I wanted to focus on caring for pets where they are most comfortable and at ease, in their own homes.

This is why I started Beach Pets, LA in 2017. The great part about helping pets while they are in their own homes is that is means I can help with a variety of additional valet services to help pet owners.

I am certified in Pet First Aid & CPCR for both pets and humans.

A Hebrew teacher from 1995-2017, I have loads of experience with kids and have been a Make a Wish Volunteer 14 years. In addition, I was a Girl Scout, play the violin and, love to travel.
